The 21st European Film Awards: Presenters and Guests

When the 1,400 guests for the 21st European Film Awards on 6 December arrive at the Copenhagen Forum, they will be welcomed by Danish TV star Mikael Bertelsen who will lead through the Awards Ceremony as host of the evening.

As part of the weekend programme for the 21st European Film Awards in Copenhagen, this year’s EFA Conference is dedicated to film comedies. A series of panel dicussions with European filmmakers and critics will look at different cultural variations of humour and the way they are depicted and perceived in film.

Grand old man of danish architecture Jørn Utzon dies 90 years old

Father of the Sydney Opera House, National Assembly of Kuwait and more locally Bagsværd Church, Fredensborghusene north of Copenhagen and many more architectural masterworks has died 90 years old.



Utzon was born in Copenhagen as the son of a naval engineer, and grew up in Denmark. From 1937 he studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and worked for Alvar Aalto and Frank Lloyd Wright. He started his own office in 1950 in Copenhagen. In 1957 he unexpectedly… Continue

Many thanks for the comment. I have long looked at this website, but unfortunately it seems unless you are an engineer or of scientific qualification's its not so easy to find alternative jobs. (I do think there could be a market for a recruitment company who specializes in placing expats of more standard position's that require English speakers and skills.) However i look across the internet for opportunities, and i am confident once in Denmark being able to network face to face and walk the streets so to speak this may offer opportunities.
