Grand old man of danish architecture Jørn Utzon dies 90 years old

Father of the Sydney Opera House, National Assembly of Kuwait and more locally Bagsværd Church, Fredensborghusene north of Copenhagen and many more architectural masterworks has died 90 years old.





Utzon was born in Copenhagen as the son of a naval engineer, and grew up in Denmark. From 1937 he studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and worked for Alvar Aalto and Frank Lloyd Wright. He started his own office in 1950 in Copenhagen. In… Continue

Many thanks for the comment. I have long looked at this website, but unfortunately it seems unless you are an engineer or of scientific qualification's its not so easy to find alternative jobs. (I do think there could be a market for a recruitment company who specializes in placing expats of more standard position's that require English speakers and skills.) However i look across the internet for opportunities, and i am confident once in Denmark being able to network face to face and walk the streets so to speak this may offer opportunities.
