Hi Pelagia,
I'm sorry to say I do not have any helpful tips to share. I followed a few leads shared below by Pernille Rasmussen, but I came up empty. This diminished our interest and I have not pursued an international move lately.
I do know…

Hello. I am a Greek raised in Toronto, Canada though living in Greece since 1993. My husband, 15-month-old baby boy and I are moving to Esbjerg, Denmark probably by mid January. He is a doctor (Endocrinologist) and I an English teacher. We would greatly appreciate any advice on life in the area as well as any paperwork/procedures we need to go through before and after we get there. Also, if anyone would like to share their experience living in Esbjerg or Denmark in general.
Thank you!

I'm in a lightly populated area of Denmark, though a few key industries are out here.
I wish you luck in your pursuit of relocating, and would be happy to meet up if you do move here.

I do know that when I lived in Denmark in the 1990s it was surprisingly easy to get a work permit as well as an extended residence visa, but that may have changed.
I encourge you to keep looking.
I found Denmark to be a great place to live. While Denmark is expensive, the Danes enjoy a high standard of living enviable by many.

Good luck
