James Bond and his Danish "Friends"



In this rainy weather I can recommend the monthly Danish film with English subtitles in Cinemateket in Gothersgade 55 in Copenhagen. Here you can enjoy the best international and Danish moives. Do you have any information concerning the process of finding/applying for work as an English teacher and/or doctor in Denmark (i.e. apart from what the official sites provide)? Do you know where we could find info about the average salary of a teacher/specialist doctor? Do you know if the cost of living affordable for someone of those professions?

My wife and I are both elementary educators in the States. We have been teaching for 14 years. We are both interested in the possibility of finding teaching (or related) jobs in Denmark. Hi Pernille,
I have just left a reply to your discussion, but I would like to ask you more about danskkompetence. I noticed there was a course for health professionals and I am interested to know more. I am on the fianl step of the studie skole course and should sit the final exam in June but it is so slow for me now I need to have a broad vocabulary of medical words to feel confident enough to work as an ergoterapeut here.

I can arrange an online course for you, so that you can start with the Danish language training in India. If you send me your e-mail adress I can give you a test login. The online course can be 17PM Danish time starting on the 10th of November with a group of 4 participants and a language instructor.
